Research

I'm interested in many topics related to galaxy evolution, particularly through studies of distant galaxies. I have used imaging and spectroscopy from a range of ground- and space-based telescopes to study the structures, kinematics, and dust content of galaxies at z~1-3, and more recently pushing to earlier times.

My work has included analysis of large samples to characterize the properties of galaxy populations over time, as well as investigations of individual galaxies using detailed spatially- and spectrally-resolved observations. I have carried out this work as a leader in and a member of multiple surveys, and have also led and contributed to development efforts of analysis tools to model and interpret these observations.
